Kamal for making educational institutions catalyst for nation building
DHAKA, March 17, 2019 (BSS) – State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder today strongly advocated for turning every educational institution as catalyst towards nation building.
“We’ll have to build our educational institutions as the flourishing centers of the spirit and ideology of the War of Liberation,” he said.
The State Minister said this while addressing a discussion and doa mahfil marking the 99th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and also the National Children’s Day held at Adarsha High School in the city’s Mirpur 10, said an official press release.
Chaired by school managing committee chairman M Moizuddin, Panel Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation Jamal Mostafa and Kafrul Thana AL senior vice president M Alauddin spoke at the function as special guests.
Urging the students to know deeply about Father of the Nation, Kamal Majumder said that everybody should take lesson from Bangabandhu’s life and ideology.
“Only then the country’s people imbued with patriotism can contribute to the nation building activities,” he added.
Earlier, the State Minister cut a cake marking the 100th birthday of Bangabandhu along with the students of the school. Later, doa was offered seeking eternal peace of the departed soul of Father of the Nation.
