Nurul urges entrepreneurs to invest in automobile industry
DHAKA, March 14, 2019 (BSS) – Industries Minister Nurul Mazid Mahmud Humayun today urged entrepreneurs to invest automobile manufacturing industry for accelerating economic progress in the country.
“The country has huge potentiality of automobile industry. Both public and private sector should work together for maximizing the potentiality of automobile industry,” he told the inaugural function of the 14th Dhaka Motor Show at the International Convention City at Bashundhora, an official release said.
Managing Director of RIL Motors Limited Riyad Hossain, Managing Director of Rancon Motorbike Limited Shawon Hakim, Director of Energy Power Generation Limited Enamul Haque Chowdhury and Executive Director of Karnofully Group Anis-Ud- Doula, among others, addressed the function with President of SEMS Global Meherun N Islam in the chair.
Nurul said, “We have to manufacture automobiles for stopping import of vehicles for expansion of transport industry. As expansion of modernized automobile sector, recondition vehicle market will be smaller globally.”
He called for manufacturing automobiles for boosting economic progress in the country.
Over 250 entrepreneurs from 16 countries are taking part in the three-day Dhaka Motor Show. The motor show will remain open from 10am to 8pm.
