Warship ‘Dhaleshwari’ takes part in Int’l Defence Exhibition in UAE
DHAKA, MAR 12, 2019 (BSS) – Warship ‘Dhaleshwari’ of the Bangladesh Navy
returned today after the successful participation in the ’14th International
Defence Exhibition’ (IDEX-2019) and the ‘5th Navy Defence Exhibition’
(NAVDEX-2019) in United Arab Emirates.
The warship and its officers and sailors were welcomed by the Commander
Flotilla West, Mongla, Commodore S M Moniruzzaman, (C), ncc, psc, BN, and
their family members upon their arrival, said a press release.
On 24 January, the warship started its journey towards the exhibition from
Mongla Naval jetty. With the leadership of the Commander of the warship
Captain M Mohabbat Ali (G), psc, BN, a total of 184 officers of different
ranks participated in the exhibition.
Warships from 15 countries took part in the exhibition.
