Rwanda invites Macron to attend 25th anniversary of genocide
KIGALI, March 12, 2019 (BSS/AFP) – Rwanda said Tuesday it had invited French President Emmanuel Macron to attend the April 7 commemoration of the 1994 genocide, in which it had long accused France of complicity
“President Macron has… been invited to the 25th commemoration of the 1994 genocide,” Rwanda’s state minister for foreign affairs, Olivier Nduhungirehe, told AFP. Macron has not indicated whether he will attend.
