DHAKA, March 12, 2019 (BSS) – Physically challenged Joshiah Sangma,
popularly known as Chibal Sangma, a nominee of Bangladesh Chhatra League
(BCL), was elected to an executive committee member of Dhaka University
Central Students’ Union (DUCSU.
Sangma, a student of Sanskrit Department and a member of minority ethnic
student group, bagged 12868 votes in the polls, emerging as a highest vote
receiving aspirant among member candidates.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor (VC) and DUCSU President Professor Md
Akhteruzzaman announced the polls results around 3.30 am in wee hours of
today.
