UK opposition Labour comes out against Brexit deal
LONDON, March 12, 2019 (BSS/AFP) – Britain’s main opposition Labour Party
urged parliament Monday to vote against Prime Minister Theresa May’s Brexit
deal despite her saying she had secured last-minute changes from Brussels.
“This evening’s agreement with the European Commission does not contain
anything approaching the changes Theresa May promised parliament,” said
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, adding: “That’s why MPs must reject this deal”.
