India announces general election for April-May
NEW DELHI, March 10, 2019 (BSS/AFP) – India’s electoral commission
announced national polls on Sunday, with voting in the world’s biggest
democracy to run from April 11 to May 19.
The vote will Prime Minister Narendra Modi of the Hindu nationalist
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) run for a second term.
