Ten more parliamentary bodies reconstituted
SANGSAD BHABAN, March 10, 2019 (BSS) – The 11th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) today
reconstituted ten more parliamentary standing committees.
With Leader of the House and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s approval, Chief whip
Noor-E-Alam Chowdhury proposed the names of the committees and the members following
the Rules of Procedure concerned.
The JS unanimously adopted the proposals in the House by voice votes with Speaker Dr
Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
The committees are the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of
Industries, Ministry of Land, Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Ministry of
Cultural Affairs, Science and Information Technology Ministry, Ministry of Chattogram
Hill Tracts (CHT) Affairs, Railway Ministry and Disaster Management and Relief
Ministry.
