Drug trader held in Ctg
CHATTTOGRAM, March 7, 2019 (BSS)-Detective Branch (DB) of Chattogram
Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested a drug trader and seized 85,000 pieces of
contraband yaba tablets after searching from a covered van in city’s
Firingibazar area under Kotwali thana early today.
The arrested was Rafiqul Islam, 48, son of Siraj Uddin Bepari, hailed
from Kalkini area of Keraniganj, Dhaka.
SM Mostain Hossain, deputy Commissioner DB told BSS that based on secret
information, a team of DB conducted a drive at the area around 3.45 am and
seized the pills from the covered van.
Police also detained the vehicle.
