Islamic Foundation arranges dua mahfil for Bangabandhu
DHAKA, Mar 07, 2019 (BSS) – The Bangabandhu Parishad of Islamic Foundation today arranged a dua mahfil on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of his 7th March speech.
“The historical speech of 7th March is the Magna Carta of the Bengalees. The speech encourages us till this date,” said Shamim Mohammad Afzal, the Director General of the Islamic Foundation, at the discussion and dua mahfil, held at the main office at Agargaon.
He said that Bangladesh has become a role model of development under the leadership of the daughter of the Father of the Nation, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He also said that she has established 560 Model Mosques and 1010 Darul Arkam Ibtedayi Madrasas.
Islamic Foundation member-secretary Md. Saiful Islam conducted the programme while Mawlana Waliyur Rahman Khan, Muhaddis of the Islamic Foundation led the munajat.
The members of the Islamic Foundation were present at the dua mahfil.
