DHAKA, March 6, 2019, (BSS)- Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin
Chaudhury today said the government is reaching education facilities to
everyone to build a discrimination free Bangladesh.
“Student life is the best time to acquire knowledge and building own-
self. Acquiring knowledge is the staircase to success,” she told the
inaugural ceremony of private-run World University of Bangladesh (WUB)’s
permanent campus in Uttara area here.
Deputy Education Minister Mohibul Hassan Chowdhoury addressed the
function as special guest WUB vice-chancellor Prof Abdul Mannan Choudhury
chaired it.
The parliament speaker described the youths as the change makers of
society as they will build the world in coming days.
Shirin Sharmin urged to the youths to increase their involvement with
information technology.
Among others, Sheikh Kabir Hossain, president of non-government
University Association, Senior Secretary of the Education Ministry Sohrab
Hossain, Bangladesh Accreditation Council Chairman Dr Mesbah Uddin, Former
Vice-Chancellor of Sheikh Mujib Medical University Professor Pran Gopal
Dutta, columnist Syed Abul Maksud, Gazipur Zila Parishad chairman
Aktaruzzaman addressed the function, among others.
