Two die in Manikganj accident
Manikganj, March 6, 2019 (BSS) – Two persons, including a woman, were killed in
two separate accidents on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway here.
Police said two snatchers with a private car attacked a motorcyclist in
Falsatia area around 7:30 pm on Tuesday. The snatchers hit the bike from
behind in which the bike rider fell on the road, leaving her dead on the
spot.
The deceased was identified as Bedana Begum, 45, wife of Sayed Ali of
village Boali under Shibalaya upazila of the district.
Police arrested two snatchers and seized their car. The snatchers were
identified as Masudur Rahman and Nurul Islam. Both of them are the residents
of Faridpur district.
Meanwhile, a speedy private car knocked a worker of a poultry feed
industry at Uthuli bypass road around 6:30 am today.
The victim identified as Sajib, 34, of village Teota under Shibalaya
upazila died on the spot.
