Programmes for celebrating Bangabandhu’s birth anniversary in Khulna
KHULNA, March 5, 2019 (BSS) – Khulna District Administration and Khulna
City and District Units of Awami League have chalked out elaborate programmes
to celebrate March 17 the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s Day-2019.
Marking the day, leaders and workers of the party will place wreaths in
front of the sculpture of Bangabandhu on Khulna Betar premises and a colorful
procession will brought out from city’s New Market area and will end at
Khulna Betar after parading through the streets.
Afterwards, a children gathering and a discussion meeting will be held
at the auditorium of Khulna Women College.
Khulna Divisional Information Office will screen documentary films on
the life of Bangabandhu at city’s Shaheed Hadis Park and Jatisangha Shishu
Park.
Khulna Shishu Academy will organize an art and painting competition for
children on the occasion.
Besides, Khulna city and district units of Awami League have also
chalked out different programmes to observe the Historic March 7.
