2 drug peddlers held with 21-kg hemp in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Mar 5, 2019 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in
a drive arrested two illegal drug peddlers with 21-kg hemp at Baroirhat area
under Zorargonj thana of the district early today.
The arrested persons were identified as Helal Uddin, 26, son of Amir
Hossain, and Mohammad Enamul Haque, 21, son of Obaidul Haque, hailed from
Forhadabad area under Hathazari upazila of the district.
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force intercepted a Chattogram- bound
private car from Cumilla at Baroirhat area of Zorargonj thana under Mirsarai
upazila of the district at 4 am today, Mashqur Rahman, media officer of Rab-7
said.
Later, the team arrested them from the car and seized the vehicle with 21-
kg hemp.
A case was filed in this connection.
