BNP’s vice Chairman Giash Quader shown arrested in another case
CHATTOGRAM, March 4, 2019 (BSS) – BNP central committee Vice Chairman
Giasuddin Quader Chowdhury, who is currently in Chattogram jail, was shown
arrested today in another case, in connection with carrying explosives and
planning acts of sabotage.
A Chattogram court today ordered to show the detained Vice Chairman of
BNP Giash Uddin in another sabotage and explosive cases.
Senior Judicial Magistrate Susmita Ahmed passed the order in a court
responding to the petition by Raozan thana police in a case filed on August
2, 2018.
Earlier, a Chattogram court on November 22, in 2018, sent BNP Central
Vice Chairman Giasuddin Quader Chowdhury to jail on charges of giving death-
threat to Prime Minister.
“Giash Uddin Quader Chowdhury also younger brother of war criminal and
hanged Salauddin Quader Chowdhury is serving a jail sentence in prison for
making defamatory remarks and threatening Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with
death,” Bijon Kumar Barua, district court inspector said.
