Drug peddler held with 7,000 bottles phensedyl in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, March 4, 2019 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion
(RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 7,000 bottles of contraband
Indian phensedyl from Nimtala Kathal Madrasha square area under Gomostapur
upazila in Chapainawabganj district in the early hours of today.
The arrested person was identified as Md. Mosidul Hoque, 24, of
Rosunchak village under Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district.
RAB said acting on secret information, an operation team of RAB-5 from
Chapainawabganj camp raided the aforesaid area at around 3.30 am and detained
a trolley and found the bottles of phensedyl in plastic bags.
RAB also arrested Mosidul from the trolley.
Later the arrested was handed over to the police of Gomostapur thana
with a case.
