2 held with 100gold bars in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, March 3, 2019 (BSS)- Members of Detective Branch (DB) police
of Chattogram Metropolitan Police(CMP) arrested two persons with 100 gold
bars worth Taka about 5 crore from CRB hill area under Kotwali thana in the
city this morning.
The arrested persons were identified as Proloy Kumar Shah, 49, hailed from
Narayangonj district and Billal Hossain, 28, hailing from Shariatpur
district.
On a tip-off, the officials recovered the gold bars, weighing around
9.5kg, from a Dhaka-bound private car this noon, said Deputy Commissioner DB
of CMP SM Mostain Hossain.
Police seized the private car and necessary action will be taken in this
connection, he added.
