DHAKA, March 03, 2019(BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid visited Road Transport and Bridges Minister, and ruling Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader, MP, at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) hospital here this afternoon.
“The President, along with his spouse Rashida Khanam, went to the hospital at about 4.17 pm and spent around 15 minutes beside him. He (Quader) is undergoing treatment at the Critical Coronary Unit (CCU) in BSMMU hospital since early morning following a cardiac arrest,” President’s Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told BSS.
The head of the state also talked to the attending doctors and wished early recovery of the senior politician.
President Hamid urged countrymen to pray for Obaidul Quader for his quick recovery.
Secretaries concerned to the President and family members of ailing minister were present.
