Atiqul to turn Dhaka a modern city
DHAKA, Mar 2, 2019 (BSS) – Newly elected Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Atiqul Islam today said Dhaka city will be built as a modern one through taking time-befitting programmes.
Seeking cooperation of all for building Dhaka city as a modern and beautiful one, he said,” I have short, medium and long-term programmes to make Dhaka city livable for all.”
Addressing a pressing conference at his residence he also thanked all voters for electing him as the mayor of DNCC.
“This victory is for all….we will work together to make Dhaka a healthy and livable city,” he said.
He also called for introduction of technology-based services for modernization of Dhaka city.
