SHAHEED-TAZUL-DAY
Shaheed Tazul day observed
DHAKA, March 01, 2019 (BSS)- Shaheed Tazul Day was observed today, paying rich tributes to the martyr and pledging to follow the lessons of Tazul Islam.
Tazul Islam, a devout anti-anarchy and democratic movement, sacrificed his life on this day in 1984.
Elaborate programmes were taken to mark the day. The programmes included paying homage to the martyr at the makeshift mausoleum in front of the central office of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) were observed.
Various political parties, organizations and people paid tributes to Shaheed Tazul Islam.
CPB central leaders led by CPB President Mujahidul Islam Selim placed floral wreaths at the mausoleum.
Then leaders drawing from different political and cultural parties, including Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal (BSD) led by Khalequzzaman, Workers Party of Bangladesh led by Anisur Rahman Mallik and National Awami Party led by Partho Sarothi Chakrawarty, paid their tributes.
