Seven gamblers arrested in Panchagarh
Panchagarh, March 01,2019 (BSS)- Detective Branch (DB)
of Police in a raid arrested seven gamblers from a Maize
field in Gajokati area under Debiganj upazila of the district
here this morning.
They were identified as Anower Hossein, Abdul Halim,
Saho Alam, Ohed Ali, Achor Ali, Forhad Hossein and Kuddus
Ali.
A team of DB police led by Sub inspector Md Mojnu Rahman
conducted the drive and arrested them when they were playing
cards.
The DB police produced them to upazila nirbahi officer
and Executive Magistrate of Debiganj. Executive Magistrate
gave them fine as Taka 500 each.
