National Voters’ Day tomorrow
DHAKA, Feb 28, 2019 (BSS) – The National Voters’ Day will be observed
tomorrow in the capital and elsewhere across the country in a befitting
manner.
On the occasion, President M Abdul Hamid is scheduled to address a
discussion at the Election Commission Auditorium at 4 pm on the day.
The day will be observed for the first time amid holding various
programmes, including rally and discussion.
The Election Commission (EC), in presence of Chief Election Commissioner
(CEC) KM Nurul Huda and other four election commissioners, will bring out a
procession from Manik Mia Avenue in front of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban at 9
am tomorrow.
The rally will end at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC)
after parading different thoroughfares of the city.
During the discussion at EC secretariat, Law, Justice and Parliamentary
Affairs Minister Anisul Huq will present as the special guest while the CEC
will preside over the function.
