BGB recovers firearms from C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Feb 28, 2019 (BSS) – Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB)
recovered four one shooter guns, two 9 MM pistols, four magazines and 12
round of bullet from Mirzapur Saotalpara under Daipukuria union of Shibganj
upazila here on Thursday noon.
BGB said acting on secret information, members of 59 battalion of BGB
raided the aforesaid area and intercepted a motorcycle. The motorcyclists
fled away leaving the motorcycle on the spot.
After searching the motorcycle the BGB men found the arms and ammunition.
Later, the seized firearms were deposited to Shibganj thana police and a
case was filed in this connection.
