Conducting research for quality higher education stressed

RANGPUR, Feb 27, 2019 (BSS) – Academics at a seminar have stressed on
conducting adequate research following proper methodologies and questionnaire
to get better results for improving quality and standard of higher education.

They made the opinion at the seminar on ‘Research Methodology’ organised
by the Department of Public Administration of Begum Rokeya University,
Rangpur (BRUR) at the department’s gallery room on Tuesday afternoon, a press
release said today.

Vice-Chancellor of BRUR Professor Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah inaugurated
the seminar as the chief guest.

Presided over by Head of the Department of Public Administration of BRUR
Jobaer Ibne Taher, students and teachers of the department and other
departments of the university participated in the seminar.

Chairperson of the Department of Public Administration of Jahangirnagar
University Associate Professor Dr. Jebunnessa conducted the seminar as the
Keynote Speaker.

Assistant Professor of the Department of Public Administration of BRUR
Sabbir Ahmed Chowdhury and its Lecturer Samantha Tamrin also spoke.

In her presentation, Dr. Jebunnessa narrated about development of
questionnaire and adoption of appropriate methodology in the field of
research.

She discussed some strategies those are important for students to follow for
presenting design and questionnaire in their research in a better way
following proper methodology.

Dr. Jebunnessa discussed various aspects of research and importance of
conducting research and shared her experience to improve quality and standard
of higher education.

The chief guest said the event would help participants to enrich ideas for
conducting research on any field of education for improving the quality of
higher education at the present global context.
