BNP failed to launch movement for Khaleda’s freedom: Nasim
DHAKA, Feb 27, 2019 (BSS) – Awami League (AL) Presidium member Mohammed
Nasim today said is it BNP’s political failure that they could not ensure the
party Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia’s freedom.
“It is the party’s political failure that they could not release the party
chairman from jail till now,” he said at a discussion organised by
Bangabandhu and National Four Leaders Smriti Parishad.
The discussion was organised marking the Shaheed Day and International
Mother Language Day at National Museum auditorium in the city.
Nasim, also the spokesperson of the 14-party alliance, said, “BNP leaders
failed to do politics as they only know how to make complain to the foreign
delegates…. we want them in the Parliament. Being afraid, they fled away
from politics and election.”
The veteran leader of the ruling Awami League also urged BNP to do
politics properly avoiding fear.
