FAZILATUNNESA-DEATH-ANNIVERSARY
1st death anniversary of Obaidul Quader’s mother observed
NOAKHALI, Feb 26, 2019 (BSS) – The first death anniversary of Begum Fazilatunnesa, mother of Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, was observed in a befitting manner here today.
Marking the anniversary, Quran Khawani, milad and doa mahfil were held at Quader’s ancestral home at Bara Rajapur village under Companiganj upazila of the district.
Later, a mejbani was also organized on the occasion.
Obaidul Quader, Noakhali district Awami League (AL) general secretary Ekramul Karim Chowdhury, MP, and its president Khairul Anam Selim, Feni district AL general secretary Nizam Uddin Hajari, Noakhali Deputy Commissioner (DC) Tanmay Das, Police Super Elias Sharif and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Faysal Ahmed joined the function, among others.
