‘Roma’ wins best foreign language film Oscar
HOLLYWOOD, United States, Feb 25, 2019 (BSS/AFP) – Alfonso Cuaron’s
“Roma,” a black-and-white cinematic ode to his childhood in 1970s Mexico
City, won the Oscar for best foreign language film Sunday.
The movie, which was the heavy favorite in the category, bested “Capernaum”
(Lebanon), “Cold War” (Poland), “Never Look Away” (Germany) and “Shoplifters”
(Japan).
