Two matches of 1st Div. Handball League decided in opener
DHAKA, Feb 23, 2019 (BSS)-Two matches of the 1st Division (Men’s) Handball League were decided on the opening day (Saturday) at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium in the city.
On the day’s opening matches, Flame Boys Club beat Mansur Sporting Club by 37-12 goals after leading the first half by 16-07 goals while Jurain Janata Club defeated Swatirtho Club by 26-14 goals after dominating the first half by 13-08 goals.
Earlier, Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) president AKM Nnurul Fazal Bulbul formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest.
BHF vice president M Hasan Ullah Khan Rana presided over the opening ceremony.
BHF vice presidents Nurul Islam and Golam Habib, league committee’s secretary SM Khalekuzaman and other federation officials were present on the occasion.
