Railways minister visits Chawkbazar victims at DMCH
DHAKA, Feb 22, 2019 (BSS) – Railways Minister Md Nurul
Islam Sujan today visited burn victims of Chawkbazar at Dhaka
Medical College Hospital (DMCH) and talked to their family
members.
The minister enquired about their current status to DMCH
Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit Chief Dr Samanta Lal Sen and
wished them quick and complete recovery.
The minister earlier visited the place of the fire
incident in capital’s Chawkbazar and talked to the
journalists there.
“Like everyone else of the country, I am also shocked by
the huge loss of lives in the inferno. The government is by
the side of the victims and will do everything possible for
them. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina herself is monitoring the
matter,” he said.
Sujan said different public bodies are conducting probe
over the blaze and will identify the reason behind it.
