Speaker consoles death in city fire
DHAKA, Feb 21, 2019 (BSS) -Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury has expressed profound shock at the loss of lives of many people in a fire in Chawkbazar area of Old Dhaka.
The speaker conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
According to the Fire Service and Civil Defence the death toll from the fire caught last night in a chemical warehouse jumped to 70 till this morning.
