Proper rendering of national anthem stressed
RANGPUR, Feb 20, 2019 (BSS) – Discussants at a function here laid
importance on learning and rendering of the national anthem accurately as
they were addressing a prize distribution function of the district level
“Rendering of National Anthem in Correct Voice Competitions-2019”.
The competition was organised by the district administration at BIAM
Laboratory School in the city on Tuesday afternoon.
The primary, secondary and higher secondary level students of 24
educational institutions of the eight upazilas of the district participated
in the competitions.
Deputy Commissioner Enamul Habib addressed the function and distributed
prizes among winners of the competitions as the chief guest.
Deputy Director (Local Government) and Additional Deputy Commissioner
(Education and ICT) Ruhul Amin Mian presided over the function attended by
students and teachers of the participating educational institutions.
District Education Officer Roksana Begum, Adjudicator Tomal Kanti Lahiri,
Principal of BIAM Laboratory School and College (English Medium) Ahsan Habib
and its Principal (Bengali Medium) Tanzina Haque addressed as special guests.
