DHAKA, Feb 19, 2019 (BSS) – Managing Director of Square Air Ltd Anjan Chowdhury and Managing Director of Novoair Mofizur have been elected as President and Secretary General of Aviation Operators Association of Bangladesh (AOAB).
The new committee has taken over the charges for 2019-2021 on Monday, said a press.
Chairman of Regent Airways Yasin Ali and Managing Director of US Bangla Airlines Abdullah Al Mamun were elected as Vice President of the 13-member executive committee.
The other office bearers of new committee are- Z Mahmud Mamun of Impress Aviation Ltd as treasurer, Raquibul Kabir of Bangla International Airlines Ltd as organizing Secretary, Md Arifur Rahman of Sky Capital Airlines Ltd as publication secretary and Md Parvez Rahman of BRB Airlines Ltd as joint secretary general.
Mostafa Kamal of Meghna Aviation Ltd, Mohammed Younus of Galaxy Flying Academy Ltd, Abdullah Al Zahir Shapan of Blue Flying Academy, Rubel Aziz of Partex Aviation Ltd and Ashish Roy Chowdhury of GMG Airlines Ltd were also elected as member.
Aviation Operators Association of Bangladesh-AOB was formed on February 25, 2012, the release added.
