Gas supply remains suspended in some areas of Dhaka tomorrow
DHAKA, Feb 18, 2019 (BSS)- Gas supply in some areas of Dhaka city will remain
suspended for 12 hours beginning from 6pm tomorrow for shifting of gas pipelines to
facilitate the construction work of the metro rail.
“Gas supply will remain suspended from 6pm Tuesday (February 19) until 6am
Wednesday (February 20) due to relocation of gas pipelines to facilitate the
construction work of metro rail under Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit Development Project,”
said Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited.
During the period, there will be no gas supply in residential, commercial,
industrial and CNG customers in Mirpur, Shyamoli, Manipuripara, Agargaon, Mohammadpur,
Dhanmondi, Ganabhaban, Jatiya Sangshad Bhaban, Kalabagan, Hajaribag, BUET, Dhaka
University area, Shahbag, Green Road, areas of entire Old Dhaka, Bangabhaban, Gopibag,
Shamibag, Rampura, Banasree, Nandipara, Maghbazar, Siddheshwari, Shegunbagicha, Mintu
Road, Tejgaon, Khilgaon, Basabo , Motijheel and Kamlapur.
Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution authorities have expressed sincere regret
for the temporary inconvenience of its consumers.
