KUJ ELECTION-COMITTEE
Sohag, Samrat elected KUJ president, general secretary
KHULNA, Feb 18, 2019 (BSS) – Md Munshi Mahbub Alam Sohag (Mohona TV) and
Sayeduzzaman Samrat (Purbanchal) have been elected president and general
secretary respectively in biennial election of Khulna Union of Journalists
(KUJ) on Sunday.
Chairman of the election Committee senior journalist Wadudur Rahman Panna
announced the unofficial result after completing votes.
Other elected office-bearers are Vice-Presidents Humayun Kabir (Ajker
Tathya) and Mahendranath Sen (’71 TV), Joint Secretary Neymul Hossain Kochy
(Somoy TV), Treasurer Avijit Paul (Independent TV) Office Secretary Joynal
Farazi of Daxinanchal Pratidin, Publicity Secretary Nur Hassan Jhony (Dainik
Tathya) and three executive members Anwarul Islam Kazol (Purbanchal), Bimol
Saha (Dainik Prabaha) and Al Mahmud Hasan Prince (Somor Khabor).
