TOKYO, Feb 18, 2019 (BSS/AFP) – Tokyo stocks opened higher on Monday on
hopes for progress in US-China trade talks.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index was up 1.55 percent or 324.31 points at
21,224.94 in early trade, while the broader Topix index was up 1.41 percent
or 22.31 points at 1,599.60.
