3-day Book Fair at IU from Feb 19
ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY, Feb 17, 2019 (BSS) – A three-day book fair will begin
at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia from February 19, IU registrar office
sources said today.
IU Vice Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari will address
the inaugural session as chief guest while famous short story writer
Professor Dr Hasan Azizul Huq of Rajshahi University will be present as the
chief discussant.
IU Pro-VC Professor Dr M Shahinoor Rahman will preside over it while
Treasurer of the university Professor Dr M Selim Toha will attend the
function as the special guest, sources added.
Vice Chancellor of the university Professor Dr Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari said
all preparations have already been completed to hold the fair in a peaceful
and festive atmosphere.
