Police arrests 44 for drug related offences in capital
DHAKA, Feb 16, 2019 (BSS) – Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in separate
raids has arrested 44 persons over different drug related offences.
Teams of different police stations and detective branch conducted the
drives from Friday 6 am to today 6 am in the capital.
Police recovered 566 yaba tablets, 511 grams of heroin, 785 grams of
ganja and five litters of local liquor from their possessions, a DMP release
said.
A total of 32 cases have been lodged with concerned police stations in
this regard.
