Supreme Court Judges to pay homage to language martyrs Feb 21
DHAKA, Feb 16, 2019 (BSS) – The Judges of both the divisions of the Supreme Court led by Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain will pay homage to the Language Movement heroes by placing wreath at the Central Shaheed Minar at 9 am on February 21 to observe the ‘Shaheed Dibash’ and the International Mother Language Day.
On the occasion of the day, they will proceed towards the Shaheed Minar from the Supreme Court premises at 8:30am to mark the day in a befitting manner, a notification signed by the Registrar General of the Supreme Court Dr Md Zakir Hossain with the order of the Chief Justice said today.
The judges have been requested to present at the Supreme Court’s Judges’ Lounge at 8 am on that day to join the observance, it added.
