Bachelors post big win in Div. I hockey league
DHAKA, Feb 14, 2019 (BSS)- Meherzzaman slammed a brilliant hat-trick as
Bachelors Sporting Club crushed Shantinagar Sporting Club by 10-0 goals in a
match of the Green Delta Insurance First Division Hockey match on Thursday at
Moulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium.
Apart from Meherzzaman’s hat-trick with four goals, Indian recruit
Harveeng Singh scored three goals and Mohammad Shamim struck twice while
Mohammad Ripon netted the lone goal for the winners.
In the day’s second match held at the same venue, Combined Sporting Club
blanked Shishukishor Sangha by 4-0 goals.
In the day’s match, Shivnatvch Das, Mehedi Hasan, Shibu Das and Jewel
Hossain scored one goal each for the winning side.
