Mannan to review progress of development projects in Khulna tomorrow
DHAKA, Feb 12, 2019 (BSS) – Planning Minister MA Mannan will pay a day-long
visit to Khulna tomorrow in a bid to hold a meeting with the project
directors for reviewing the progress of various development projects being
implemented in greater Khulna Division.
Talking to BSS, an official at the Planning Minister’s office said the
Minister would hold the meeting in Khulna with the concerned project
directors.
The official informed that the Planning Minister would likely review the
progress of a total of 58 projects being implemented in greater Khulna.
“The main objectives of holding such meeting is to infuse dynamism in
Project implementation pace, completing projects in due time and thus
ensuring transparency in project works,” added the official.
The Planning Minister would gradually hold such meeting in every division.
Meanwhile, the Planning Minister would also visit the “1971: Genocide and
Torture Archive and Museum” in Khulna and visit the project site of under-
construction Khan Jahan Ali Airport under Rampal upazila in Bagerhat.
