Hong Kong shares start day with losses
HONG KONG, Feb 12, 2019 (BSS/AFP) – Hong Kong stocks opened lower Tuesday,
following Wall Street’s lead as investors awaited US-China trade talks.
The Hang Seng Index sank 0.23 percent, or 65.27 points, to 28,078.57.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index added 0.13 points to 2,654.03,
while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stock on China’s second
exchange, lost 0.13 points to 1,347.81.
