DHAKA, Feb 10, 2018 (BSS) – The annual sports competition of Tiny Tots and Summerfield School was held at Dhanmondi Women’s Sports Complex in the city yesterday.
Hamida Begum, general secretary of Bangladesh Women’s Sports Federation, was present as the chief guest at the function with the school principal Anjum Hossain in the chair.
Hamida Begum urged the students to actively participate in sports along with study.
Rafiul Azam and Aisha Shakhawat earned first position respectively in boys and girls group category in the combine race competition. Both of them are eleventh-grader students, a school press release said today.
Hundreds of students participated in various sports competition on the occasion.
Later, the guests distributed the prizes to the winners. Along with the students, the parents also took part in various sports competition.
