Ghorashal-Palash Urea Fertilizer Factory Construction to start in July
NARSINGDI, Feb 10, 2019 (BSS) – The main construction work of the country’s largest Ghorashal-Palash Urea Fertilizer Factory will start in July this year.
Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun today said this while visiting the Ghorashal-Palash Fertilizer Project at Palash upazila under Narsingdi District, said a press release.
The minister witnessed that the necessary preparations for stating the construction work are going on in full swing.
Among others, State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder was present on the occasion. Humayun said the construction of the new fertilizer factory is part of the Bangladesh Awami League’s pledge in its election manifesto and the construction will be completed within the scheduled time as per the government’s commitment.
“The energy saving and environment friendly factory will increase the production of food,” he added.
“The factory will increase production of fertilizer as well as food production,” he added.
