3 students killed in Gazipur road accident
GAZIPUR, Feb 10, 2019 (BSS) – Three college students were killed as a bus
hit their motorbike on the Dhaka-Tangail highway in Gazipur city this
morning.
The deceased are Shakib Hossain, 18, Raja Babu, 17, and Johnny, 18,
residents of South Mouchak area in Gazipur city. They were all students of
class XII of Prof Shahjahan Ali College in Kaliakoir upazila of the district.
Police said the accident occurred in the area at about 11 am when a Gazipur
city-bound bus hit the motorbike from opposite direction, leaving Johnny and
Shakib dead on the spot and injured Raja Babu.
Raja Babu was taken at a local clinic where doctors declared him dead,
police said. They were going to their college.
