Speaker mourns death of Rashid Suhrawardy
DHAKA, Feb 9, 2019 (BSS) – Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin
Chaudhury today condoled the death of Rashid Suhrawardy, the only son of the
legendary political leader, former Prime Minister of erstwhile Pakistan and
the president of All Pakistan Awami League late Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy.
In a condolence message, the Speaker expressed profound shock and sorrow
at his death.
She also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed
profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Rashid Suhrawardy breathed his last at his London residence on February 7.
