Three women die after drinking in Munshiganj
MUNSHIGANJ, Feb 09, 2019 (BSS) – Three women of a family died after drinking too much wine in Gazaria Upazila of the district last night.
The deceased were identified as Chameli, her sister China and their aunt Josna. They were the inhabitants of Sundarganj under Gaibandha district.
Officer-in-Charge of Gazaria Thana Harun-or-Rashid said Chameli was working at the Khan Sheapyard as a cleaner. China and Josna came to visit Chameli yesterday. They drank together last night and fell sick.
They were taken to Gazaria Upazila Health Complex where the doctors sent them to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
Chameli, China and their aunt Josna died at DMCH this morning. Chameli’s husband Montu also fell sick after drinking excessive wine with them.
