Two women killed in Gopalganj road crush
GOPALGANJ, Feb 8, 2019 (BSS) – A woman and her daughter-in-law were killed
in a road accident in Chitkibari area on Gopalganj-Rajouri road under
Kotalipara upazila of the district today.
The deceased were identified as Murshida Begum, 55, and her daughter-in-
law Mansura Begum, 20, of Vuturia village under the upazila.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kotalipara Thana Md Kamrul Faruq said the
accident occurred when a motorcycle collided head-on with a Nosimon (locally
made vehicle) in the area, leaving Murshida and Mansura, co-rider of the
motorcycle, dead on the spot.
Critically injured motorcyclist Nayem Mollah, son of Murshida Begum, was
taken to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital.
A case was filed in this connection.
