Six accused of Anik murder case land in Ctg jail
CHATTOGRAM, Feb 7, 2019 (BSS)- A Chattogram court sent six youths, accused
in Chhatra Dal activist Abu Zafar Anik murder case, to jail after
surrendering themselves in to a city court here on Thursday.
Chittagong Metropolitan Magistrate Abu Saleh Md Noman sent them to jail
after rejecting their bail petitions.
The accused are Rocky Das, 23, Durjoy, 22, Aporajita, 21, Mintu Das, 33,
Obhi Das, 21, and Ajay Das, 22.
Abu Zafar Anik, 26, was stabbed to death in front of his father on June 17
last year over an altercation with the accused youths.
Victim’s father Nasir Uddin filed a case with Chawkbazar Police Station
accusing 12 people.
