Trendsetters to get JP nomination for reserved seats: GM Kader
DHAKA, Feb 6, 2019 (BSS) – Jatiya Party (JP) Co-Chairman and the Deputy
Leader of the opposition GM Kader today said the nomination papers for the
reserved women seats would be given to those candidates who can contribute to
the party as well as the country.
“Nomination papers for reserved seats in the 11th parliament will be
distributed among the women who can play vital role in the party as well as
the Parliament,” he said.
GM Kader told the newsmen after attending a meeting with the nomination
seekers for the reserved seats at the Banani party office in the city, said a
press release.
The list will be sent to the party Chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad for
finalising the candidates after evaluating their contribution to the party,
he said.
JP Secretary General Moshiur Rahman Ranga, Presidium member advocate Golam
Kibria Tipu and Sheikh Mohammad Sirajul Islam, among others, were present, at
the meeting.
