Archives and record management training held in Rajshahi
RAJSHAHI, Feb 6, 2019 (BSS)- A daylong training on Archives and Record
Management was held here yesterday aim at disseminating and creating
awareness and knowledge on how to protect information and data.
Desktop IT, an information and Communication Technology-based entity,
organized the training at its head office at Hatemkha area in Rajshahi city.
Some 35 persons from various public and private entities including the
offices of Rajshahi City Corporation, Deputy Inspector General of Police and
Rajshahi Metropolitan Police took part in the training.
The trainees were given ideas on how to protect official information and
data scientifically and digitally.
Assistant Governor of Rotary 3281 Hasibul Hassan, Director of Metropolitan
Archive in Netherlands Sigfrid Janjing and its compatriot archivist Florus
Geriuts and Managing Director of Desktop It Khaza Khaled conducted the
training sessions as resource persons.
